David Walliams parted ways with book publisher.
Acclaimed writer for children and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A spokesman for the company said: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding reports of inappropriate behaviour directed at young women.
The company did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
